4th Grade Celebrate Freedom Stations

3 Documents & Flag

Next week in the RBE Library, our 4th grade students will be coming to learn more about and explore the intent, meaning, and purpose of three of the most famous and important documents in the United States.

Those documents are the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, and the Bill of Rights.

I love history and I get a little sentimental when I teach or talk about this great nation of ours and its beginnings. So, bear with me. I decided to make 3 videos to explain each of these 3 important documents.

The videos are below and can be found on the RBE Library YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/rbelibrary

For the 3 stations, the first part of the station will be the video explaining what the document is, what the intent of the document is, and what purpose it serves now. Here is the lesson information.

Then, students will look at transcripts of the 3 documents, pictures of the real documents, and answer some basic questions. Here are the  Celebrate Freedom Stations Questions .
