This last week at the RBE Library, students from a third grade class participated in independent research with gudiance from me, during a pull out time. Each student chose a topic they were interested in, created open ended questions about that topic, and then used resources from the library and the library website to answer their questions.
These students are now working on glogsters to present what they learned. This simple research process is going to be implemented across the board in all grade levels. We are excited to help our students become better critical thinkers and information literate citizens!
