This family is having some trouble because their parents are fighting. So the dad decides to leave without telling anyone.Then their mom decides to take her children to the pet shop to get four dogs, and one cat. They had a wonderful time together. The dogs were calm and they watch out for each other. When the day of Elinor, Williams little sisters birthday came the dogs and family had a great time.That is when their dad finally came home. The whole family watched out for their mom because she was going to have a baby. this was a splendid event.
My favorite part of the book was when mom found out that the dogs and cat could talk. he almost fainted when she heard that they heard every word that she said since they were out of their cage.she never could imagine this.The dogs were scared at her dizziness. She always always had a companion to talk to.That is why it is my favorite part of the book.
