I will be reading The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt with illustrations by Oliver Jeffers and taking notes about the crayon stories they like the best. Then the students will be writing a friendly letter to one of their classmates using this letterhead. After they write their letters, they will deliver them and share what their favorite color is and the main idea of their letter here.
