This week at the RBE Library we have been celebrating World Read Aloud Day which is hosted by Lit World and actually took place on March 5th.
We have been celebrating all week here at the RBE Library by Skyping with other schools and having them read aloud to us or reading aloud with them! Most of our Kindergarten and 1st grade classes got to Skype this week. We Skyped with:

In some of our Skypes this week we had some great student readers to us. I also read to some of the schools. I read Unicorn Thinks He’s Pretty Great by Bob Shea. This is a really great new book that I love reading aloud because I get to do silly voices!
We had a such a fun time connecting with other kids and other librarians! What a great week celebrating reading and reading some great books aloud!
