Last week at the RBE Library, students in grades 3-5 were introduced to the new RBE Library through technology stations! Each station had students explore the new library website to learn about the new motto, library rules, the 2011-2012 Texas Bluebonnet Books, what happens when a student loses or damages a book, the new district ebook library, and library procedures.
For students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, they were read Clever Jack Takes the Cake and got to check out books. Kindergarten students were introduced to shelf markers, and were assisted in learning how to browse for books by using their shelf marker.
