The RBE Library wants to give a HUGE thank you to the RBE PTA! With a shortage in funds, we desperately needed a second set of the Texas 2×2 books for students to enjoy as part of our Texas 2×2 Reading Program (for more information click here).
The RBE PTA was quick to respond by ordering the necessary books from one of our vendors.
Last week, the books arrived and the students and I were thrilled!
On Friday, Mrs. Jennings and Mr. Waldrip were able to do their Buddy Readers Program, and they read the new set of Texas 2×2 books! The kids just love these fun new books, and we are all so thankful to the RBE PTA for their generous donation to the RBE Library!
We are still in need of additional funds for books, so if you would like to donate to the RBE Library, you can do so year round by clicking here. Last week, we placed out first Funds4Books order to get some much needed new titles for the library. We have had tons of requests by students for new and exciting books. We hope to fill many of those requests!
