TASL MVP Award

On Friday, April 26, I attended the Texas Association of School Librarians general business meeting to accept a TASL MVP Award for this library website!

Here is my original post about the award and about my nomination.

It was very exciting to get win this award, and to be at the TASL session. Lois Lowry was the guest speaker, and just getting to hear her talk about her journey as a writer was amazing!

I am so thankful for all the support of the teachers at RBE and my administration for allowing me to do all the things I do for the students here at RBE! The students are the most important thing to me! I love serving students and staff, and look forward to every opportunity I am given to do so. Being an educator is a calling for me, and getting to live out my educational passions through my work in the library is a gift!

A special thanks to all the students at RBE! I do what I do because of you guys! We have incredible students who love reading and learning. You all make this my dream job. Thank you!
